Posting guidelines

• Do be civilised and considerate.
• Do try and express your thoughts carefully and clearly.
• Do be sure to read what the other person is actually saying and not what you think they may be saying.

• Don't get personal. A good general rule to follow is, "criticise ideas, not people".
• Don't post personal / racial / ethnic / gender-based insults, slurs or offensive comments.
• Don't post junk.
• Don't post advertisements. If you are unsure whether or not a posting constitutes an advertisement, e-mail A Dignified Revolution before posting.
• Don't post useless, off-topic material.
• Don't make libellous statements or anything else that might violate someone's privacy.
• Don't post contact details such as phone numbers, physical address details, email addresses or any other type of contact details like website addresses, Instant Messenger IDs etc.
• Don't post any type of contact information in your signatures.
• Don't post in ALL CAPITALS.
• Don't infringe upon copyrights and other intellectual properties.
• Don't attempt to resolve individual care disputes or allegations of neglect or abuse. Such cases should be immediately reported - please see our Guide to Raising Concerns.
• Don't engage in party political discussions.
