These are just a few of the comments that we have received from delegates who have attended our training
Dignity is More Than Just a Word
- The introduction was very powerful and set the scene for the day
- I know now what it it feels to be ignored and disempowered
- Reminded me that there are still caring people out there who are all striving for the same thing
- Very thought provoking
- Lots of tools to use and development of ideas to take back to work
- "We are not alone"
- An excellent workshop – needs to be delivered to all staff groups in some form
Using Human Rights to Improve Dignity in Care Settings
- I found the event most interesting and, following some brief feedback to my CEO, I have already been tasked with proposing some adjustments to our values and attitudes training to incorporate the Human Rights perspective
- the course was excellent and I shared some of the material - specifically the Ghandi quote, at out national team meeting . A lot of people were very interested in the work and actually emailed me after to say how much they liked the Ghandi quote
- Group work and case studies excellent
Dignified Care Despite Difficult Colleagues
- Very helpful to share and network with a diverse group of colleagues who are all facing similar challenges with difficult colleagues
- All of it was very interesting indeed - food for thought
- I am not alone
- Made me realise that I need to plan and give thought to facts and how to deal with issues
- It was reassuring to hear other people's experiences and realising I am not alone
- Gave me insight into why people behave the way they do and that it is not always mindful arrogance
- Protected time for reflection and sharing problems - excellent
